In a latest release issued by the hospital’s administration, management clarified that at no point did any staff member or doctor request admission fees before attending to the patients, neither was there any statement made concerning a shortage of beds.
According to the statement, the first female patient was assessed by attending medical doctors and was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital. Management further disclosed that shortly afterward, a second patient was also brought to the facility and was likewise pronounced dead on arrival following medical examination.
The hospital administration described the information circulating on social media as false, misleading, and malicious, stressing that such reports are intended to undermine the integrity and professional reputation of the institution.
Redemption Hospital Management maintained that its medical team remains committed to providing professional healthcare services to the public and urged citizens to avoid spreading unverified information capable of creating public panic and damaging the credibility of the hospital.
The management also called on members of the public and media institutions to seek clarity from official hospital authorities before publishing or sharing sensitive information relating to medical emergencies and deaths.
