Subject: Apology Letter for the Recent Incident and Request for Reconsideration

Dear President and Members of the Liberia Basketball Association,

We, the undersigned members of (Invincible Shooters), wish to extend our deepest and most sincere apologies to the Liberia Basketball Association, the referees, fellow teams, fans, and the broader basketball community for our unacceptable behavior during the recent incident that took place at SKD,

We acknowledge that the fight and the manner in which we conducted ourselves were completely out of line and contrary to the values of discipline, respect, and sportsmanship that the LBA stands for. There is no justification for our actions, and we take full responsibility for what happened.

Our emotions got the better of us in a moment that should have been guided by restraint, respect, and maturity. We deeply regret the negative image our actions brought upon the game, our team, and the entire basketball community. We understand that such behavior undermines the spirit of unity and fair play that basketball promotes, and for that, we are truly sorry.

We have since reflected deeply on the incident and taken internal measures to ensure that nothing of this nature ever happens again. We have spoken collectively as a team, and each member has agreed to uphold the highest standards of discipline, regardless of the circumstances on or off the court. We are also prepared to participate in any disciplinary workshops, community services, or counseling sessions the LBA may recommend as part of our rehabilitation.

We fully respect any decision the Association has made concerning this matter. However, we humbly and respectfully appeal to the Liberia Basketball Association to kindly reconsider any suspension, fine, or sanction imposed upon us. We pray for mercy and a second chance to prove our genuine remorse and renewed commitment to the game and its values.

Basketball means a lot to us — it’s not just a sport, but a family, a passion, and a path to growth and unity. We ask that you allow us the opportunity to make amends and continue to contribute positively to the development of Liberian basketball.

Once again, we express our deepest regret to the Association, the officials, our supporters, and everyone who was affected by our actions. We assure you that lessons have been learned, and such behavior will never happen again under any circumstance.

Thank you for your time, understanding, and consideration. We remain committed to working hand in hand with the LBA to promote peace, respect, and excellence within the sport we all love.
