World Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed every year on May 28 to break the silence around menstruation and push for better health, dignity, and education for everyone who menstruates.

Why it matters:
1. Health & Dignity: Over 500 million people worldwide lack access to safe menstrual products and clean facilities. That affects school attendance, work, and overall health.
2.Breaking Stigma: In many places, menstruation is still treated as taboo. Talking openly helps end shame and misinformation.
3. Education & Empowerment: When girls and women have accurate info and resources, they stay in school, participate fully in society, and make informed choices about their bodies.

The 2026 theme: is usually centered on “Making menstruation a normal fact of life by 2030.” The goal is simple: no one should be held back because of their period.

What you can do:
- Talk openly about periods to normalize the conversation
- Support access to affordable pads, clean water, and safe toilets
- Share accurate info and challenge myths in your community

This year, Appleton's Empowerment Initiative and the Young Urban Women’s Movement are partnering to raise awareness and promote menstrual health in Liberia.

I’ve been wanting to talk about sexual purity for a long time now.
What held me back was waiting for Abba to give me the go-ahead.

Today I was watching a video, and the man quoted Proverbs 20:17. It touched me deeply. I knew immediately that Abba was speaking to me through him, so I wrote it down. When I tried to write about it, I realized I kept writing the same message I’ve always had in my heart about sexual purity.

So here it is:
Proverbs 20:17 says,
“Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, but afterward his mouth will be full of gravel.”

Fornication! Fornication! Fornication!
It may seem sweet in the moment, but afterward comes the bitterness.Physically and spiritually.
As you grow closer to God, you begin to see that fornication isn’t sweet at all. It becomes bitter, empty, and shameful.

Why do something that will leave you feeling regret, guilt, or broken afterward? That conviction you feel is God reminding you that it is not meant for you.

Physically, fornication can lead to serious consequences.
Unwanted or early pregnancy, sexual diseases, depression, heartbreak, and more.
But keeping yourself sexually pure pleases God and protects you as a human being, whether male or female.

Sexual Purity Dah Na Only Woman Thing Man There Too!

Sexual purity is not just about avoiding certain actions, it is about living a life that honors God in both body and spirit.
In a world where immorality is often normalized, choosing purity is a bold decision to walk in obedience and self-respect.
