Summa Super 16 Junior Rugby Carnival Committtee organised a World Rugby Workshop in Mahiyanganaya, supported by Sri Lanka Rugby and in collaboration with the Mahiyanganaya Education Zone, Uva Province.

The objective of the program was to enhance the basic knowledge and skill levels in order to expand the sports footprint at grass roots level in the Uva Province.

The workshop was well attended by coaches, players and teachers from numerous schools in the province.

The workshop was conducted by World Rugby Educators and Trainers Mr. Anil Jayasinghe, Mr Castro Kasturiarachchi and Mr. Nihal Viper Gunaratne Jnr.

We look forward to having a number of teams from the Uva Province participate in the annual Summa Super 16 Junior Rugby Carnival 2026 edition this year.
