1. Flight Controls:

Roll (lateral tilt) is controlled by Ailerons (green) on the wings.

Pitch (nose up/down) is controlled by the Elevator (yellow) on the tail.

Yaw (left/right movement) is controlled by the Rudder (orange) on the tail.

Spoilers (blue) help reduce lift and control the roll by acting as air brakes.

ලොව විශාලතම ලී ගුවන් යානයේ පළමු පියාසැරියට වසර 77යි !✈️

ඇමරිකාවේ Hughes Aircraft Company නම් ගුවන් යානා නිශ්පාදන සමාගම විසින් නිශ්පාදනය කෙරූ "Spruce Goose" ලෙස හදුන්වන Hughes H-4 Hercules නම් ගුවන් යානය ලොව බිහි වූ විශිෂ්ටතම ගනයේ ජලචර ගුවන් යානාවකි.

එහි ඇති විශේෂත්වය නම්,

දෙවෙනි ලෝක යුධ සමයේ තිබූ ලෝහ හිඟය නිසාවෙන් මෙම ගුවන් යානය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම පාහේ නිපදවා ඇත්තේ ලී වලින් වීමයි.

මෙම ගුවන් යානයේ පියාපත් අතර පළල මීටර් 97.5ක් (අඩි 320ක්) පමණ වේ.

වර්ථමානයේ ඇති ලොව විශාලතම මගී ප්‍රවාහන ගුවන් යානය වන Airbus A380 ගුවන් යානයේද පියාපත් අතර පළල මීටර් 75.75ක් (අඩි 261.8)ක් පමණකි.

Hughes H-4 Hercules යනු ලොව මෙතෙක් ඉදිකර ඇති විශාලතම ලී ගුවන් යානය වේ.

1947 වර්ශයේ නොවැම්බර් 02 දින තත්පර 26ක කාලයක් පමණක් ප්‍රථම ගුවන් ගමන කෙරූ මෙම අති ධැවැන්ත ලී ගුවන් යානයේ එම පියාසැරියට අදට වසර 77කි.
