How to learn to be grateful?
Start with daily entries in three categories:

1. Five of your successes, big and small
Five (or more) activities per day that you were especially successful in, something small or global, useful for yourself or for others.

2. Five events per day
Five of the best things that happened this day (or the last, if you write in the morning): weather, compliments, something nice that others did for you.

3. Five things you want to thank the universe for
Write down five things you dream about as if they were already present in your life. This will give you the opportunity to dive deeper into gratitude. When you find that five points are easy, increase them. “And add more specifics,” the expert advises, “for example, to the usual “thank you for the family,” add: “I have wonderful children, my parents are healthy, we live in mutual understanding.”
