Love was never loud in my life. It didn’t arrive with speeches or perfect timing. It arrived the way dusk does softly, almost unnoticed, until everything felt held.

It lived in ordinary gestures. In someone adjusting their pace to match mine. In pauses where no one rushed to fill the space with words.

I learned that love doesn’t always explain itself. Sometimes it just stays, even when it would be easier to leave.

And that staying, quiet and unannounced changed me more than declarations ever could.

Once you become a certain age, it’s your responsibility to unlearn behaviors that hinder your growth as a person.

Actually I don't want a new year this time around, I want gently used year like a 2013 or maybe a 1995 if it's in good shape😂
