> “88% of men receive their first flowers at their funeral.”
Let that sink in.
This world doesn’t clap for men while they are still building. Nobody throws flowers when you’re struggling, broke, tired, or trying to figure life out. As a man, most times you’re loved conditionally — for what you can provide, protect, or become.
When you wake up every day and grind, hakuna mtu anakuuliza umechoka aje. Bills don’t care about your feelings. Society doesn’t pause because you’re overwhelmed. The world will not favor you — it will test you.
That’s why you must work.
Work when you’re motivated.
Work when you’re tired.
Work when nobody believes in you.
Not because it’s easy, but because you have no luxury of quitting.
Men don’t get flowers for trying. They get respect for results. And even that respect is temporary if you stop pushing. So build yourself quietly. Invest in your skills. Strengthen your mind. Discipline your habits. Become so valuable that the world has no option but to notice you.
Don’t wait for appreciation.
Don’t beg for validation.
Don’t expect favors.
Your reward may not be flowers today — but one day it will be freedom, stability, and legacy.
Until then, grind in silence.
Because as a man, the world only listens after you win.

START 2026 BY WRITING DOWN YOUR GOALS OR PREPARE TO DRIFT.
One of the simplest habits that separates people who move forward from those who stay stuck is this:
They write their goals down.
Most people don’t fail because they lack ambition.
They fail because their goals exist only in their heads.
And thoughts are slippery.
Today you’re motivated.
Tomorrow you’re tired.
Next week you’ve forgotten what you wanted.
That’s why 2026 must start with clarity on paper.
Sit down and write at least five goals you want to achieve this year.
Not vague wishes like:
• “I want to do better”
• • “I want money”
• • “I want to grow”
Be specific.
Instead:
• “Learn graphic design and get my first client by June” • “Save KES 200,000 by December”
• • “Lose 10kg by October”
• • “Build a portfolio website by March”
• • “Pay off my debts by August”
Writing forces honesty.
It exposes fantasy.
It shows you what’s realistic and what needs work.
A written goal does something powerful:
It gives your mind direction.
Without written goals, you react to life.
With written goals, you design your life.
And here’s the part many people skip.
Goals don’t work by magic.
They work because they influence daily decisions.
When your goal is written down:
• You waste less time
• You say no more easily
• You feel uncomfortable skipping work
• You start noticing opportunities
People who don’t write goals live on autopilot.
They wake up, scroll, complain, repeat.
People who write goals feel pressure the good kind.
Pressure to show up.
Pressure to act.
Pressure to improve.
2026 doesn’t need motivation.
It needs structure.
Write your goals.
Review them weekly.
Adjust when necessary.
But don’t avoid them.
If it’s not written, it’s not real.
And if it’s not real, it won’t happen.
Start with five goals.
Let them guide your year.
