The group funded its activities through a merry go round scheme of Kshs 100 per person giving to one member and by the end of 1999, the group had lost some of its members and there children remained behind as orphans. We approached the group to see whether we can take care of the children but most of them withdrew seeing it would be a big burden to them, hence we were left three women and we took the initiative.
