The sessions went beyond theory. Participants worked through:
• How community groups are formed, governed, and led.
• What the Community Groups Registration Act (2022) requires in practice.
• How to develop constitutions, keep records, manage conflict, and mobilize resources.
• How to complete CDMIS registration and engage public systems with confidence.

This is what meaningful refugee participation looks like in practice: not invitations to meetings, but legal standing. Not symbolic inclusion, but the ability to sign, open, apply, and lead.

When refugee-led organizations are legally empowered, they stop being implementers on the sidelines and become legitimate partners in local development.
