On Saturday, 7 February, WingFarm trained farmers on sustainable poultry production, with a practical focus on feed formulation, housing, disease management, and farm-level biosecurity.

High feed costs and disease outbreaks remain major constraints to profitability in poultry farming. Addressing these challenges requires empowering farmers with practical, cost-effective solutions. At the same time, sustainable livestock production must prioritize food safety. Farmers should be supported to produce meat and eggs that meet public health standards and are free from unnecessary antibiotic residues.

Youth inclusion in agrifood systems is central to "leaving no one behind."

When young people are meaningfully engaged, agrifood systems become more innovative, resilient, and capable of meeting youth aspirations, today and into the future.
