When Kibaki Raila , Ngilu, Wamalwa formed NARC, they signed an MoU which was to create the position of PM to be occupied by Raila.

During the campaign, Kibaki got injured and couldn't stay on the campaign trail. Dr Gikonyo (Kibaki's personal doctor) in an interview, said the process of airlifting Kibaki to London made him have great respect for Raila. He narrated how Raila mobilised some young men who lifted Kibaki onto the plane.

Nevertheless, with Kibaki away Raila stepped in, tirelessly rallying his colleagues to campaign for NARC. He always used the analogy that the injury of a captain doesn't affect the team.

After all , he understood the terrain of opposition politics much better than most of his colleagues who had just come from KANU where they had spent most of their political lives. They were literally new to opposition politics.

NARC went on to win the election with a huge majority, but it didn't take long before the mafias turned against Raila. The then State House Comptroller Matere Kereri proudly narrated in his book how they immediately stopped Raila from accessing State House because they believed he was a bad man who could confuse Kibaki into honouring the MoU.

These mafias believed that implementing the MoU could threaten their new grip on power. David Musila narrates how Raila, then serving as cabinet minister, was turned away at State House gate alongside other LDP members when they tried to see Kibaki.

Raila took it in his own stride, accepted his isolation but slowly gravitated towards opposition politics that led to the formation of ODM. He defeated the mafias, but they stole his victory openly without shame. But still, Raila compromised for the stability of the country which was already in flames.

My point is , Raila has seen it all, from helping the thankless to carrying along joyriders who later turn back to betray him. Even civil rights activists who should be operating away from politicians are now accusing him of betrayal because they wanted to ride on his back to cause anarchy while pocketing dollars.

Raila is an old man who knows what is bad and good for the country. I am not even half his age. So why would question his wisdom? Kenya is a democratic country. If you don't agree with another person's political stand you are free to pursue another political path.

The stroy of kalulu waterfall in Central Africa Congo.....It is definitely clear the waterfall was named after a 12 year old African boy servant to Sir Henry Morton named Ndugu Mhali but later named by his servant Kalulu....

It is also possible that Stanley was sodomising Kalulu, especially judging from the book he wrote titled "My Kalulu, Prince, King and slave."

The book has been described as a "homosexual love story" and it romanticises friendship between a character called Kalulu and another boy called Salim. It is possible that Stanley was indirectly describing his feelings.

Kalulu would later die a painful death by drowning in the Livingstone Falls during one of the expeditions with Stanley.

For starters Kalulu was sold to Stanley by an Arab merchant in Zanzibar. His real name was Ndugu Mhali, but because Stanley didn't like the name he christened him Kalulu.

Between 1872 to 1873, Kalulu accompanied Stanley around Europe and America, and during that time posed for a wax model which was later installed at Madame Tussaud’s museum in London .He was also presented to Emperor Napoleon.

Stanley briefly enrolled him at a school in Wandsworth, South West London, where the headmaster later noted that he was " clever and progressing in English."

After the death of Dr David Livingstone in Zambia in 1874 , Stanley who was keen to carry on with Livingstone's exploration work, withdrew Kalulu from school and returned with him to Africa.

In 1877, Stanley while using Kalulu as his servant, embarked on an expedition in the Congo to find the Source of river Nile.

Unfortunately during this trip the minor died in a tragic accident after his canoe plunged hundreds of feet down a waterfall on the Congo River. The waterfall was later named 'Kalulu Falls' in his honour.

Why was Stanley sailing in a different boat?
What was a 12 year old boy doing on a dangerous waterway like the Congo River? What was the attachment between a fully grown European man and an African boy? Definitely Stanley had the poor boy's blood on his hands.
