FSD is a community-based organization empowering persons with disabilities through advocacy, inclusion and access to opportunities for a dignified and independent life.
On 30th September 2025, Uasin Gishu County Deaf Community, in collaboration with the Department of Gender, Community Development and Social Services, the SHA Eldoret Branch Manager, Hon. Regina Chumba, and other stakeholders, successfully conducted an SHA registration exercise for Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) at the County Headquarters.
The event saw a large turnout, with the majority being members of the Deaf community. During the exercise, the Managing Director urged the public to ensure they secure their health through SHA, emphasizing the importance of accessible health coverage for all.
