decided to venture into surfcasting, and fishing excavations of all kinds that has taking us to all parts of the Northeast. In our 1st couple of years, we started by joining the honorable 100 year plus organization known as A.S.A.C. tournaments allowed us to grow as a brotherhood, as we established ourselves, adding new members, meeting many great anglers, and as we established our growing knowledge and passion for the surf. It didn't take long when we realized that, that our passion was "The Hunt" regardless of where it took us and what time of the day it was! Due to this and understanding we needed to choose wisely where we spent our time, we decided to leave ASAC. This led to many great trips that took us from Montauk to Cape Cod, to Maine, to all parts of New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts Etc...

As we continue to evolve in 2025 and as we enter our 14th year, we wanted our name to more accurately reflect our passion, our direction and our future endeavors! So, in October of 2025 we changed our name to
"Poseidon Surfcasters". What Does this mean? Yes, we have brothers that do all types of fishing and that will continue....

but....

"The Hunt" & "Brotherhood" is what fuels this group now! Where will it take us next? What State? What Country? What tide, What Moon, What Wind, What Plug, Lure or Bait will it be when you catch your PB? What New Memories can we create? What New Adventure is next? Only time will tell... Stay Tuned....
