May is a perfect time for a short out-of-the-city escape!
Luckily Lombardy has many interesting places to visit, including this unique hidden gem!

How to get there:

🚆 Take a train from Milano Centrale to Capriate San Gervasio / Trezzo sull’Adda, then a short taxi or bus ride.
🚗 Or drive — it’s just ~40 min from Milan

Would you live in a “perfect” city like this? 👇

You’ve probably passed by this door on Corso Garibaldi many times — and never seen what’s inside. ✨

A unique apartment filled with light and art. It was created to preserve and promote the works of Renzo Bongiovanni , and to support young artists.

Inside, you’ll find a quiet but living gallery with Radice’s paintings, original furniture and personal objects — the kind of place that feels more like stepping into someone’s art-filled home than a museum. 🖼️

📍 Save this post for your next Brera/Garibaldi walk: Fondazione Adolfo Pini, Corso Garibaldi 2.

Thank you for the guided tour, and thank you .rti.no for the track — we loved it. 🎧

if you’ve been avoiding touristy places in , you might be missing out (some of these spots also come with useful event updates for May and June — save this post 👀)

🖤 Piazza degli Affari — come for L.O.V.E. by Maurizio Cattelan (yes, that sculpture). This is also the spot where car enthusiasts often gather, so you can see some very serious cars.

🎼 rooftop / Terrazze — go up in the evening. The terraces will stay open until 8 PM during the long weekend from May 30 to June 2, and then every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from June 5 to September 13. From June 11, live music will be back.

🌞 Bagni Misteriosi — pool, sun, music and best vibe. On May 30–31, they’re hosting Festa di Primavera with flowers, plants, vintage, design and crafts, plus theatre, music, dance and GUD Bistrot.

💧 Apple Store at Piazza Liberty — the glass entrance, fountain and stairs are iconic. Grab something to go and sit outside in the sun.

🌿 Villa Necchi Campiglio — we keep mentioning it for a reason. Garden, architecture and a current exhibition inside the villa: four works by Adolfo Wildt, on view until June 28.

🦩 Villa Invernizzi flamingos — you can only see them from outside, but it’s always worth stopping by.

🕶 TOILETPAPER street at via Balzaretti — colorful, surreal and always a good photo stop.

☕️ Marchesi 1824 — drink with pasticcino al banco to save some time and money.

its all fun and games until you need to work on sunny days ☀️💻

some very important updates lately:

👀 Humana Vintage near Duomo renovated their store — now it’s bigger, brighter and full of even more clothes📍Via Cappellari 3

👀 Triennale honestly feels like a completely new place now: renovated garden area with more spots to sit outside, work or just spend the whole afternoon there. Plus VOCE keeps hosting interesting events — free exhibitions and music, but places fill up quickly, it’s better to keep an eye on the website

👀 Bar Nico might be one of our favorite places for sunny aperitivos lately — good drinks, cool crowd and exactly the kind of place where you can stay forever.

PS: Glovo saves us from starving during workdays but it still can’t replace a cold drink on a sunny 😭
