In 2025, Sodai also launched the Ambassador Programme against gender-based violence with Fondazione Libellula, as part of the Gender Equality Programme.

An intensive and structured journey that led to the training of Anna Montoli and Alessandra D’Aprile as agents of change, in the workplace and beyond.

Becoming an Ambassador means taking on a clear responsibility:

🔹 promoting a more inclusive and supportive working environment

🔹 raising awareness of gender-based violence

🔹 acting as points of reference, with the ability to listen and provide guidance

Because gender-based violence is not a private issue, but a cultural and social one that concerns all of us.
And companies, as true mini-communities, can and must play an active role in driving change.

This certificate does not mark the end of a journey.
It represents the beginning of a path of awareness and shared responsibility, to which Sodai is committed in a concrete and ongoing way.

Sodai has received the CEOforLife Award 2025 for Water Resource Protection.
A recognition that celebrates our vision: proving that regenerating water is possible, necessary, and—above all—shareable.

For us, the transition toward water reuse is not just a technical pathway.
It is a cultural challenge: changing how industry perceives and uses water, while building social acceptance, trust, and awareness around regenerative models.

Canal Café embodies this vision.
The project we brought to the 2025 in Venice— a fully operating system that transforms lagoon water into an excellent espresso—tells, in the most concrete way, the metaphor of the cultural transformation we need.

Sodai, Natural Systems Utilities and the architecture studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro combined their technical expertise, turning an industrial plant into a place of encounter, dialogue, and awareness.

It is an invitation to rethink our cities.
To imagine infrastructures that are not hidden underground, but become experiences—spaces where water returns to being relationship, culture, trust.

If we change our perspective on water, we can change the way we live our territories.
And bring industry — and society — closer to a more resilient, regenerative, and circular model.
