He has always been quite active for the most part of his life, but a skiing accident and becoming a father led to him becoming quite inactive and piling on the pounds. Sunitha, always found excuses to stay inactive while growing up. However, she started to have a keen interest in yoga during her college days and that became a staple for her always. After her two pregnancies she had piled on enormous amounts of weight leading to difficulties in carrying about day to day activities. This is when both of them started their fitness journey and at some point started strength training together since that’s what both of them were passionate about. @shredify.me was started as a blog on Instagram to document their fitness activities. The need to provide more comprehensive information on not only physical health but also mental health and other aspects of living which we take for granted led to the creation of MBody (mind and body embodied) . Praveen is a software engineer running a software company, with a certification in nutrition, sports nutrition and training. His extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition and training helps bring fresh perspective to the work we do at MBody. Sunitha is a dental surgeon with a fellowship in dental implantology. She is certified by the International Board for Lifestyle Medicine as a Lifestyle Medicine Professional and also holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine. She is a Certified Nutritionist, Power Yoga Instructor, Animal flow Instructor and Breath Coach. MBody.in was started to bring awareness to health as an embodiment of physical, mental and spiritual aspects and not just exercise and nutrition. It is an effort to help people help themselves lead a healthier and more accepting and holistic life.
