Eddie Murphy slips back into the prosthetics for a full tour-de-force performance as Rasputia, who returns not as a bitter ex-wife, but as a viral reality TV sensation and the outrageously wealthy owner of a so-called “Wellness Empire” — one built mostly on fried chicken and highly questionable shakes. She storms back into town fueled by vengeance, threatening to bulldoze the orphanage to construct Rasputia Land, a theme park dedicated entirely to herself.
Mr. Wong (also Eddie Murphy) returns with even more wildly politically incorrect wisdom, doing his best to help Norbit finally stand his ground. With Katt Williams and Terry Crews rejoining the chaotic ensemble, the film erupts into a nonstop barrage of slapstick mayhem and physical comedy.
