We are a bunch of like minded people who go crazy on weekends clicking all the way! Our group members be it in Udaipur or anywhere else, are a mixture of beginning, amateur and professional photographers, with skills ranging from novice to expert. We shoot a wide variety of subjects ranging from portraiture to nature. Each of us wants to learn more, and to share what we have learned about making p

ictures. If you have made plans on the weekend for photography and your looking for company, we are right here!

‘Like’ us, if you are in to photography or wish to be a part of our UWS Community. Once you 'Like' our page and join our community, you will receive weekly 'update' about the community activities. You can share your photos on our page directly or even submit your work to us via email. Please keep in mind the Rules and Regulation while uploading and sharing your photo on UWS Page.

1. Unnecessary spamming of links or tagging wont be accepted.
2. Please put a CAPTION and EXIF data while uploading your photo on our page.
3. We will get back in touch only if we are interested in publishing your photographs.
4. WATERMARK is allowed, but it must not reduce the image quality.
5. Photographs will be judged on the following parameters:- Composition- Creativity- Quality of the image (clarity, sharpness)- Editing.
6. Please note that the photos have high resolution.
7. Do not resubmit your photos.
8. Photos must be your own work, if we suspect that the work is not your own it will be removed.
9. To submit your work for consideration, please e-mail an image or three in JPEG format.
10. We will publish your photos with in 48 to 72hrs once we receive all the required details.
11. Please do not open unnecessary threads for discussions or make any lewd comments.
12. The group administrators have the final word in all cases. To submit your work for consideration, please e-mail us images in JPEG format With your Full Name & City, to [email protected]. NOTE: Image caption and EXIF Date is compulsory. Please email your photos with Caption & EXIF data with maximum of 1mb/pic or less, but make sure that the quality of the image is not compromised. l EMAIL ID: [email protected]. If you have a story, photo, suggestion, complains or comments for us? Send in your entry's on [email protected] and we will feature the story with your name.

The group of core team of UWS met today (leaving the few who had some prior engagements) and took few decisions regarding UWS that we think will be best as we move forward. We have discussed upon many things and you can read about it in the following doc -

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, UWS is organizing a theme based photo competition open for all.

The theme is 'Ganpati Mahotsav' and the clicks from Ganesh Chaturthi till Ganpati Visarjan on the theme are valid for entry.

Each individual can submit 3 best photos on [email protected] and all the photos will be published as an album here on 9th Sept.

The most liked 3 photos from the album will be framed presented to the photographers who clicked them.

So participate and spread the word.

PS. Blurred, Off focus and photos apart from the given theme won't be counted and shared. Also, images with watermark ruining the subject won't be added.
