Wishing axeman GARY HOLT a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!💐
Gary Holt is a renowned guitarist best known for his work in the thrash metal bands Exodus and Slayer. Born on May 4, 1964, in Richmond, California, Holt joined Exodus in 1981 and became a key figure in shaping the band's aggressive sound. His distinctive riffing style and intense stage presence solidified his place in the metal community. 🎸
Holt's influence extends beyond Exodus; he joined Slayer in 2011 as a touring guitarist and later became a full-time member, following the death of Jeff Hanneman. With both bands, Holt's guitar prowess and songwriting contributions have left an indelible mark on the thrash metal genre, earning him a revered status among fans and fellow musicians alike.
