How to install the custom fonts in Windows-8

I was wondering how to install the custom fonts to the Windows 8 OS. It’s pretty simple. Thought of sharing with you all.

1. First, just download and save the font file you want to install.

2. Now, Go to Control Panel and Select Fonts folder:

3. Select “Font settings” in the left panel of the window

4. Check the check box to allow to install the new fonts and click on OK button

5. Now go to the fonts file you have saved. Right click on it, you can see the option to install the font

6. Install the font. Now, you can open any editor like ms-word or word-pad, you can see this font in the list of fonts
