Severe Traffic Jam Evoked on Running Highway After Motorists Disregard Rules

A massive traffic gridlock was reported on a major highway after several motorists blatantly disregarded traffic regulations by entering the wrong lane. Video footage recorded by a stranded passenger shows long queues of vehicles, including buses and commercial trucks, at a complete standstill. Commuters expressed intense frustration over the lack of civic sense and reckless driving that paralyzed traffic on the active route.

Pune Police Raid “Project X” Party in Tulapur, Dozens Detained

Pune Police raided a late-night party named “Project X” in the Tulapur area, detaining several people after finding liquor being served without permit, loud sound systems, and visibly intoxicated young men and women.

The party was underway at a bungalow on the Alandi-Markal road, within Lonikand Police Station limits. Around 60–70 youths were present at the resort-like venue. Police suspect narcotics were also being used and have seized substances for examination.

Officials said the party continued until past midnight before the Crime Branch team intervened. Around 300 police personnel took part in the operation.

Further investigation is underway.
