“POOJA Group” came into being under the stewardship of LATE SHRI GIRDHARI LAL GUPTA on 2nd October 1975, who was an acknowledged social worker and a great organizer with determination. With the introduction of sewing machines in CSD (Ministry of Defence) in 1978, our sales enhanced considerably and gave inspiration to manufacture fans. Since then we are top regular suppliers of Sewing Machines and
Fans to CSD. With humble beginning, today the group is into manufacturing of both domestic and industrial products such as Sewing Machines, Fans, Automatic Voltage Controllers, Distribution Transformers, Silicon Rectifiers and other Special Purpose Transformers. We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company having BIS marks for Sewing Machines and Star rating for ceiling fans. With a humble sale of around 3000 Sewing Machines per annum in 1975, the company as on date sells around 1.8 Lac Sewing Machines per annum. We are supplying POOJA Sewing Machines to various State Governments through our ever-growing network of more than 300 dealers pan India. POOJA products have crossed the International Barriers and are being exported to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia etc. POOJA has always believed that quality is more than just a concept or a word, for us it is a complete culture. A phenomenon with this very ethos and philosophy, we were awarded with National Award for Quality Products in Small Scale Sector by Sh. Pranab Mukherjee, the then Honorable Defence Minister of India. We have put up another unit in Himachal Pradesh under the name of “POOJA UDYOG” to manufacture Electrical products. Due to tremendous success in Sewing Machine business the company has set up an additional plant in Ludhiana for manufacturing Sewing Machines.
