The Unfolding Frame: A boutique resort nestled within the contours of a hillside, envisioned as a series of spatial frames that gradually open toward the valley.
The design balances modern geometry with natural materials like local stone, timber, and greenery to create a cohesive dialogue between structure and landscape.
Every level of the resort transitions seamlessly with the terrain, allowing light, air, and nature to shape the experience of space.
The result is a warm and contemporary retreat that feels both grounded and expansive.

The Unfolding Frame is a boutique resort at Bhimtal, Uttarakhand.
The idea behind the conception was to create an intimate space over the contours that could provide an escape from the city life.
Here, families and friends could share the roof and enjoy the pockets of recreational activities surrounded by the nature.
The elevation is framed to open to the views of the valley. The journey itself is an interesting pathway that leads to the interiors as well as semi open spaces.
