Every morning, a Vocational Teacher enters the classroom carrying more than just books.

They carry practical tools, charts, models, instruments, lesson plans, and dreams.
Dreams of making students skilled enough to survive in the real world.

They teach Retail,Tourism & hospitality, IT, healthcare, security, plumbing ,electronics, beauty and wellness, automotive, agriculture and many other job-oriented skills.
They guide students for interviews.
They motivate weak students who are about to give up.

Many students learn their first professional skill from them.
Some even get jobs because of them.

But after the school bell rings and students go home with hope for a better future…
the Vocational Teacher goes home with fear.

Fear of contract renewal.
Fear of losing the job anytime.
Fear of having no security despite years of service.

Is this fair?

When governments speak about “Skill India”, “Employment”, and “Youth Empowerment” — who is silently building that foundation inside schools?

Vocational Teachers.

Then why are NSQF Vocational Teachers still treated like temporary workers?

A teacher who builds the future of thousands of students should not have to beg for job security.

We are not asking for luxury.
We are asking for dignity.
For stability.
For recognition of our work.

If skill education is important, then skilled teachers also matter.

Support NSQF Vocational Teachers.
Because we too deserve to live.
