You are cordially invited to participate. Offerings, together with dedications, can be sent at any time up until February 19th, 2023.

The Event:

The β€˜Grand Gutor Puja’ (Gutor Chenmo) is traditionally performed towards the end of the last Tibetan lunar month of the year. The purpose of the β€˜Grand Gutor Puja’ is to clear away all of the sickness, suffering, bad luck, and obstacles of the past year and to request the blessing of an auspicious fresh start for the year to come.

All of the monks of the monastery participate in this special puja, in which offerings and prayers are made to Thirteen-deity Vajrabhairava (Yamantaka), Dharmaraja and Mahakala. Propitiating and making offerings to Dharma protectors is regarded as extremely beneficial in overcoming both spiritual and worldly obstacles.
