We are a group of music lovers that came together in college through the love of music. In doing so, we have grown accustomed to one another's differences to bring about a whole new sound, one of diversity and freshness. Groovy rhythm sections, energetic vocals, ear-catching synth-work, melodious backing vocals and powerful drum grooves. As individuals, we are all completely different in our music
al tastes and that is our greatest strength. Our music ranges from pop to rock to even a little jazz influence. The fact that we can come together to complete one another sonically, creating a cohesive and satisfying listening experience to all our listeners. Our band consists of:
Craig Fernandes - Vocals
Craig comes from a musical family, where almost everybody sings, thus from a young age, he has been performing at different stages. School events, college fests, and now different pubs across the city. His voice has a certain huskiness to it that adds a different flavour to every song he sings. His major influences have all come from classic rock artists like Pink Floyd, Guns and Roses, Led Zeplin etc. Shannon Ponnoth - Electric Guitar
Like most young catholic boys, Shannon was forced into learning an instrument at the young age of 13. He remembers his parents wanting him to learn the guitar while he wanted to learn the keyboard. Looking back, listening to his parents was one of the best decisions he ever made. As soon as he began figuring out the guitar, he fell in love with it. Over the years, his music has evolved as he explored everything from pop, to progressive rock, to blues and these influences are clear in his style of playing today. Through the multiple guitarists that he has followed over the years, the two names that stand out for him as his biggest influences are John Mayer and Mark Tremonti. Oswin Telis - Electric Guitar
As A young boy, Oswin used to be an avid footballer. He used to spend hours each day on the ground until an ankle injury forced him to be at home for a while. This led to him discovering the guitar and it truly was love at first sight. Over the years he has played for multiple bands across the city, and currently is a freelance musician who plays regularly at Blue Frog and other prestigious venues. His main musical influence over the years has been Slash from Guns and Roses, and more lately John Mayer. Brent Tauro - Keyboard
Brent grew up in a musical family; his mother being a piano teacher and his grandmother being a vocal trainer as well as a choir conductor. From a young age, he took up the piano as his main instrument, playing classical pieces that he would overhear his mother's students play. He later on picked up the guitar under the guidance of Lydia Solomon, founder of Music Central. Since then, he has played both keys and guitar in church worship teams in Bangalore and Mumbai. He also composes his own music, which contains influences from several artists, ranging from Snarky Puppy to Herbie Hancock to John Mayer to Owl City. He is theoretically sound in his approach to his compositional technique, and has a keen ear for
sonic brilliance. He has also played for a number of shows in and around Mumbai and has also been part of professional
recording sessions for guitar and vocals under Joe Cordo. He is the keyboard player and backing vocalist of Strike Three. Jeremy Fernand - Bass Guitar
Grandson of reputed jazz and Konkani music virtuoso, ‘Frank Fernand’, it is easy to see the apple hasn’t fallen far from the
tree. He was taught the piano by his parents at a very young age, and it didn’t take long for him to develop a deep appreciation for the art. Given his rich musical heritage, he soon established himself as a young prodigy and by the age of 12 completed 5 piano grades at Trinity. Feeling the need to further explore his musical prowess, he took up and taught himself the bass and acoustic guitar. The
music of Pino Palladino and Marcus Miller have been major influences in his playing style. He currently is a freelance musician and plays for multiple bands across the city. Vimog Barboza – Drums
Vimog took to the drums pretty late, as he started learning only aged 15. In the last 5 years, he has grown leaps and bounds. As most teenagers, he began with a love for progressive rock and modelled his playing on the lines of Dream Theatre drummer Mike Portnoy. Over the years, as he was exposed to more and more genres of music, he fell in love with Snarky Puppy and lately he says his biggest influence is Larnell Lewis. He currently is a freelance musician and plays for multiple set-ups in the city.
