Presenting a contemporary interpretation of the classic folktale ‘The Hare and The Tortoise’, the film narrates the delightful tale of the daily life of people living in chawls in . It starred Naseeruddin Shah, Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval in the leading roles. Sai Paranjpye adapted the film from her own play Sakkhe Shejari.
