JKPDP VP Mohd Sartaj Madni Madni Slams Government Over Sidra Demolition Drive.

Kund, May 20: JKPDP VP Mohd Sartaj Madni on Wednesday criticised the ruling government over the recent demolition drive in Sidra, alleging that the promises made to the people after the elections have not been fulfilled on the ground.
Addressing party workers during a meeting, Madni said that the public had high expectations from the ruling party after it assumed power, but claimed that the government has failed to address the key issues concerning the common people.
Referring to the recent demolition drive in Sidra, Madni termed the incident “very unfortunate” and said that more than 50 families belonging to the Gujjar community were left devastated after their homes were demolished.
He said the incident has caused immense hardship to poor families and raised serious concerns among the tribal community. Madni further remarked that despite the government having ministers from the tribal community, the affected families did not receive the protection and support they had expected.
