This is a unique gateway to success in engineering entrance exams for the IITs (JEE Advanced), NITs, (JEE Main), WBJEE, BITSAT, etc. as well as ISI & Olympiads, with special focus on JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced).

At PhyMath success is evident from past records. Since its inception in 2001, starting from the first batch that passed out in 2003, the success rate has been consistently higher than 30% every year in IITJEE reaching a maximum of above 40% for IITJEE, 2009 & 2011. Even our students who could not make it to the IITs, have got selected in other top engineering institutes in the country like BITs, NITs, JU, BESU, IEM, VIT, Manipal etc as is evident from the list of some of our ex-students given later.

Quality Policy followed at PhyMath.
At PhyMath we believe in the intrinsic capability of each candidate for reaching their goal towards success and strive towards continual improvement.

Eligibility of Students:
Science stream of Class XI and Class XII of all Boards who are willing to face the challenges of entrance examinations to premier engineering institutes.

Schedule & Methodology:
Each week, two (2) classes are held, for both Physics & Maths, since the current pattern of JEE (Main & Advanced) tests a student’s understanding on Physics, Chemistry & Maths together so holding a combined class for both Physics & Maths on the same day helps in better preparation for the student.
At the end of each class, a home assignment is given, which is corrected and given back in the next class with detailed solutions and feedback.
At the end of completion of each topic for both Physics and Mathematics, a class test is held to assess the learning of each student.
Comprehensive Topic-Based Study Material in given to students in the form of sequential lessons for further enhancement of learning.
On completion of the whole syllabus in class XII, a series of real type Mock Tests, closely based on latest exam patterns for JEE (Main), WBJEE & JEE (Advanced) are held at regular intervals starting from January of each year for the entrance exams held in April – June of that year. In-depth solutions and quick problem solving tips as well as detailed performance analysis of each student are given at the end of each test for improvement of scores.
Comprehensive Revision Programme is held during January to May of each year (with suitable gaps during board exams) to help candidates iron out their weaknesses as well as boosting their confidence and building their temperament for tackling advanced types of problems.
For our students who qualify JEE (Main) and become eligible for taking JEE (Advanced), special classes and tests are held in May of that year totally free of cost.

Norms: It has been our experience that because of the inseparable inter dependence between Physics & Mathematics and commonality of topics, the student cannot grasp the concepts of either subject fully without proper inputs of the other. Hence Enrolment has been made mandatory for both Physics & Maths.

The teaching methodology is such that the teacher strives towards maintaining the right balance between school / board level preparation and competitive exam level preparations. This is amply borne out by the high scores (above 90%) of our students in Board exams who have joined the top engineering institutes in our country and abroad.

At PhyMath ours is a student-centric approach where the accent is on learning the subject in a stress free and enjoyable manner. We try to do this by inculcating in our students a genuine interest towards the subjects. By stimulating his spirit of inquiry and natural curiosity towards science, the student is allowed to learn the topic at his own pace. At the same time, due emphasis is put on developing a student’s analytical and reasoning abilities. This helps in honing the problem solving skills of the student, which is an essential ingredient for success in competitive exams, particularly JEE (Advanced).

Through weekly home assignments and frequent test taking with feedbacks and doubt clearance sessions, both the student and the teacher can keep track of the candidates progress on a continuous evaluation basis. This helps in taking early corrective steps in a planned and well organized manner.

At PhyMath our results clearly show that the intensively focused interactive approach ensures best results for the student in both board and other competitive exams.
