Call for Entries!!!

Dear Artists,

Warm greetings from Strings 'N' Steps Academy of Performing Arts and Festivals!

We are excited to announce the launch of our Bi-monthly Baithak Series — an intimate platform designed to celebrate and nurture Indian Classical Dance and Music through soulful performances by students and upcoming artists.

This Baithak Series is open to all past and present students of Strings 'N' Steps, as well as new artists from outside who wish to showcase their artistry and connect with fellow performers.

The Subjects will be:

Kathak Dance I Hawaiian Guitar I Sitar I Santoor I Indian Classical Vocal I Indian Semi-Classical Vocal I Rabindra Sangeet I Nazrulgeeti I Rabindranritya I Indian Semi-Classical Dance I Piano I Keyboard I Spanish Guitar


How can you participate?

— Offline artists (Delhi/NCR-based) can apply to perform live at our venue during the Baithak.

— Online artists can apply by submitting their performance video, which will be showcased through a projector presentation at the event.


Please Note (For all participants):

— Submission of a 1 minute 30 seconds (maximum) video is mandatory for both offline and online participants.

— You are encouraged to enhance your presentation using tabla, background score (programmed), or any supporting instrument.

— Your presentation skill, clarity, and expression will strengthen your application and enrich your learning experience.

— All submitted videos will be reviewed by a curated selection committee.

— Selected artists will be invited to present their performance (live or via projector screening) in the upcoming Baithak.

— Additionally, all submitted videos, whether selected for performance or not, will be shared on our official social media platforms with due credits to each artist.
