If you are building your dream home, don’t miss one of the most exciting and trending elevation materials in modern architecture — Kinetic Facade.

Unlike traditional static facades, a kinetic facade brings your building to life. Designed to move with wind, light, or mechanical systems, it transforms the exterior into a dynamic architectural element. The facade constantly changes its appearance throughout the day, creating a living surface that interacts with nature and the surrounding environment.

Beyond aesthetics, kinetic facades also enhance building performance. They help regulate sunlight, improve ventilation, reduce heat gain, and create energy-efficient building envelopes. The result is a facade that is not only visually striking but also intelligent and sustainable.

At Dexxta Design, we are pushing the boundaries of architectural engineering by developing advanced kinetic facade systems that combine innovation, precision fabrication, and futuristic design. From concept to installation, we work with architects and developers to create facades that turn buildings into iconic landmarks.

If you want your home or building to stand out, move with nature, and represent the future of architecture — kinetic facades are the next evolution of elevation design.

Architecture is entering a new era—one where buildings are no longer static objects, but dynamic systems that interact with their environment.

This hexagonal kinetic façade explores how traditional materials can be re-engineered to respond to natural forces like wind. What was once rigid metal becomes a living architectural surface—constantly shifting, reflecting light, and creating a sense of motion across the building envelope. In dense urban environments, such responsive façades introduce movement, texture, and life into otherwise static skylines.
Kinetic architecture challenges the conventional role of façades. Instead of simply enclosing a building, they can perform, react, and engage with the environment. Each module becomes a small mechanical element that collectively creates a fluid visual experience across the entire structure.
This work also stands as a tribute to the pioneering ideas of artist and innovator Ned Kahn, whose exploration of movement in architecture revealed how fluidity can emerge from rigid materials. His work continues to inspire designers and engineers to see buildings not as fixed forms, but as responsive systems that interact with nature.
At Dexxta Design, we believe the future of architecture lies in this intersection of engineering, motion, and environmental responsiveness—where façades are not just surfaces, but experiences.

At Dexxta Design, we believe architecture should move with time—just like legacy brands that continue to evolve without losing their soul.

We are proud to have designed and executed a kinetic elevation for Alankar Restaurant, Kerala, a name that has been serving timeless flavours and unforgettable experiences since 1990. The dynamic movement of this kinetic façade is a reflection of Alankar’s journey—rooted in tradition, yet constantly evolving with changing times, tastes, and generations.

Each movement of the elevation symbolises resilience, adaptability, and the evergreen spirit of a restaurant that has stood the test of time for over three decades. It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with the visionary and young owner, Mr. Hamalsha, whose forward-thinking mindset bridges heritage with modern design sensibilities.

We extend our heartfelt best wishes to the Alankar Restaurant Group for continued success, growth, and many more decades of culinary excellence. May this kinetic elevation become a living landmark that tells your story—every single day.
