Marriage changed something in the way I observe women.

You begin to notice the expectations placed on them, the quiet adjustments they make, and how naturally they put everyone else before themselves.

And then you realise something deeper.

There is a phase many women go through when they leave one home, but the other hasn’t fully become theirs yet. For a while, they exist somewhere in between.

Understanding this has made me more empathetic towards the women around me their silences, their preferences, and the things they sometimes don’t insist on.

To every woman who has ever felt like she was between two homes for a while. I see you.
