**Vibrant Exposure Tour to ITI Baramulla by PM SHRI Govt. Girls High School Rajpora*
Date: 24th December 2024
Today, PM SHRI Govt. Girls High School Rajpora embarked on a captivating exposure tour to ITI Baramulla, a significant step under the PM SHRI (Vocational Sector) initiative. *This enriching experience aimed to broaden students' horizons and introduce them to the diverse world of vocational sector.* The journey commenced at 10:00 AM, with students enthusiastically departing from the school in a well-organized manner in A-Class bases and reached the destination at 11:20 a.m.
*Upon arriving at ITI Baramulla at 11:20 AM, the students were warmly welcomed by the esteemed Principal and the dedicated faculty and a captivating presentation provided a comprehensive overview of ITI Baramulla, highlighting the institute's esteemed reputation and the wide array of vocational courses offered.* The students were then divided into three dynamic groups, each guided by knowledgeable faculty members. This facilitated an immersive exploration of various trades and skills, including:
Automobile: The thrill of engines and the intricacies of automotive mechanics were unveiled.
Electrician: Students gained insights into the fascinating world of electrical circuits and wiring.
Carpentry: The artistry of wood craftsmanship was showcased, inspiring creativity and precision.
Mechanical: The wonders of mechanical engineering were explored, from intricate gears to powerful machinery.
Sewing Technology & Fashion Designing: Students delved into the art of garment creation, from basic stitching to fashion design concepts.
Stenography & Secretarial Assistant: The importance of effective communication and administrative skills was emphasized.
Machinist: The precision and skill required in machining operations were demonstrated.
Welder: Students witnessed the artistry and expertise involved in welding techniques.
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): The students were introduced to the exciting world of computers and programming.

To ensure the students remained energized throughout the day, nutritious lunch and refreshing beverages were provided.

Mr. Arfat was felicitated for his out of box thinking in developing a toy ( ) that has been recognised and registered by Patent Department, CGPDT Govt. of India.
