Thereafter, he went to the United Kingdom for higher specialist training in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries. He is spearheading a team of 8 orthopedic surgeons, 6 nurses & plaster technicians who are ably supported by a group of trained physiotherapists. He has performed some of the most complex surgeries in India and ranks as one of the few most qualified orthopedic surgeons in Asia. Apart from being an excellent orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Verma is also a fitness enthusiast and an avid marathon runner. He has participated in more than 20 marathons including the prestigious Chicago, Amsterdam, and Mumbai marathons.
