Save this for the days when life feels stressful after that long day at work. And send it to someone who spends half their life commuting…

For the longest time, I treated commuting like wasted time. Something to just get done with while scrolling endlessly or stressing about the next day.

But over the last 2 years, I have started using that time differently. Listening to podcasts that nourish my mind. Reading books instead of absorbing all the nonsense news online. Writing thoughts in my Notes app or WhatsApp chat named “notes to self.”

And honestly? Some of my best ideas, emotional lows, creative inspiration, and moments like “oh this is the idea I have been looking for” happened while I was simply moving in a vehicle. A flight, train, cab, bus or car!

So this is your reminder: your commute does not have to drain you. Yes I know the traffic is annoying. But it can become a space for reflection.
