According to the 20th Livestock Census, India is home to over 15.3 Million stray dogs. But the numbers tell a deeper story when you look at density versus absolute population.
📍 Odisha has the highest density (39 dogs per 1000 people).
📍 Uttar Pradesh has the highest total number (Over 2 Million).
