It has inspired billions of people from across the globe and will continue to create many more ‘Kalams’ in our nation. The content on this page strives to exhibit tales of courage, perseverance and endurance. And above all, it will depict the tenacity of the human spirit.

Education is the foundation of progress, and teachers are the architects of the future. To recognize and celebrate the tireless efforts of educators, the Dr. Kalam Memorial Teacher’s Award (KMTA) was initiated—an endeavor close to our hearts at Kalam Center and Homi Lab. 🚀

This year, we proudly honor 23 exceptional teachers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, passion, and impact in the field of education. Through a rigorous selection process, we identified educators who embody the spirit of Dr. Kalam’s vision—igniting young minds and shaping a better tomorrow. We teachers from all over India, from math to science, social science, primary, music, sports and special educators.
We were honored to have Dr. Archana Sharma, Principal Scientist at CERN, Switzerland, as our Chief Guest. Her presence and insights inspire us all to pursue excellence in both science and education.
