MPhil Programme in Development Practice

The Centre for Development Practice at Ambedkar University Delhi (hereon referred to as CDP) invites applications for 1 (one) faculty position under the Non Timber Forest Produce (NTFP) project housed at CDP. The centre is looking for applicants with considerable experience of being engaged in projects related to political economy and political ecology with a sound understanding of the development sector, which is the primary focus of the NTFP project.
The roles and responsibilities of the position are as mentioned below:
1. Provide inputs and design project strategies along with the team at CDP
2. Ensure project commitments and deliverables are met
3. Oversee project accounts and reporting
4. Facilitate stakeholder/partner communication and coordination
5. Plan and visit students, stakeholders and partners working in various CDP field sites
The position will be offered on a temporary contractual basis from September 2019 to November 2019 which might be extended at the end of the contract period based on performance and requirement.

For the 4th Rohini Ghadiok Oration 26th April 2015 , we are very lucky to have Ms Anu Aga who will be the speaker this year. She will speak on “ Embracing Life through the experience of Death”. Ms Anu Aga is a well known personality - an industrialist in her own right, currently Chairperson of “Teach for India” , Padma Shri and Rajya Sabha member.

This year the Oration will be at the Stein auditorium, India Habitat Center .
