Education is a fundamental human right that should be available to all citizens. Nonetheless, many people are unable to meet even the most basic requirements in this area, and much of this can be linked to educational discrimination. To be concise, discrimination in education is the practice of denying specific children the right to basic education on the account of their caste, class, race, ethnicity, or disabilities. No child should suffer any sort of discrimination at a place of education, and here is how governments and institutions should look to ensure this, in accordance with the UNESCO Convention Against Discrimination in Education:
• There is a need to make the different tiers of education accessible to all, with greater emphasis on ensuring that each child gets access to a higher education.
• Education must be geared toward the complete evolution of the individual personality as well as the reinforcement of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
• A uniform level of education must be ensured across all public institutions, and all individuals who have previously missed out on a higher education should be offered the opportunity to complete their studies.

Kids have access to screens all around them. Research shows that the average 8- to 10-year-old spends almost 8 hours a day with a variety of media, and older children and teenagers spend around 11 hours per day with media. That time adds up, and young people are spending more time with technology than they do in school.
How Adults can help?
Parents can start by ensuring children under two don’t use screens. They can also play along with children to include face-to-face interactions with technology, and make sure that tech doesn’t interfere for opportunities to play.
Adults can help make sure kids learn about computer science and IT as part of technology use to give them opportunities for a bright tech future.
