Hafeez Contractor looked at that land and saw something nobody else could.
Towers. Skyline. A new Mumbai.
He designed The Imperial — Mumbai's tallest twin towers at the time. Standing 254 metres over a neighbourhood that was literally built on factory rubble.
The buildings didn't just change the skyline.
They changed the economics of an entire city corridor.
Property prices in Lower Parel — rose 7x between 1991 and 2005. Startup India
₹2 lakh crore invested in the region in the years that followed.
