Thacker's Yummies - Homemade

Winters are special, as one can have really delicious and healthy dishes with lots of fresh vegetables incorporated in the dishes. So, here is some mouth licking hot Baked Vegetable Handvo straight from the kitchen of Thacker's Yummies...😋

It is fun meeting all the Joint Family members at festivals, especially in the present time of Nuclear Family Days. Since we left Cuttack, Orissa, we are all scattered across different states but still very connected at heart. So, we make it a point to meet especially on Diwali and New Year. Some still cannot always make it, but we were a big gathering this time on 26-10-2022 and love to mark this day as one of the most Invaluable Days of our family. Another memorable celebration on that day was my Bro-in-Law's birthday. Above all, one more remarkable point was that we were 26 of us gathered, i,e., 26 family members gathered on 26-10-2022. It was like the Universe had planned it all. We missed the 9 members who could not make it.

The best part was that we gathered at one of our Cousin's Home with homemade food for we wanted to have more time with each other and sit stretching our legs on the floor and also pulling each other's legs. Moreover, nothing like homemade food. I wanted to take my family down the memory lane of Cuttack days and the famous Dahi Wada and Aloo Dum of Cuttack. So, I made DAHI WADA for everyone but yes without the Aloo Dum😀, surprizing everyone for I am allergic to curd and do not even serve anyone curd. Well, that is a long story so I will leave it for some other day.

We all look forward to the day the Universe shall plan for each and every member to gather at one place for a festival.

Of all the members, I dream even big, to wish that the Universe gets us back under One Roof Permanently with Abundant Love ❤️ amongst us more than that we have now.

A grand gathering of MAA's friends on Sunday, the 25th Sep 2022, graced our home. Friends from school and college time gathering at age 80's, is incredible and every moment spent with them was invaluable.

The best we can do is serve them homemade delicacies when they are at the age where they deserve all the relaxation after a long journey of service to their families.

So, I was more than blessed to get this opportunity to make and serve them delicacies with all the love and it gave me great satisfaction to see the happiness in their eyes as they relished mouth-watering dishes.

May the universe always grace me to serve delicacies to all especially these seniors...🙏
