t excited us about the idea, our big leap forward came with, you guessed it, more food. The motley crew got together for a sunday breakfast at the legendary Cafe Max. Breakfast continued till lunch time and we had the first real vision of the club figured out in our heads. This is what the vision looks like for us. We’re excited about two things — meeting cool people and doing cool things. This is exactly what we want to achieve through BCC. How will it work? We’re thinking of an education inspired structure of who this will work. For the original inspiration, check out BrightWorks. The idea is to think of a month as an arc. This arc has 3 stages- Exploration, Expression & Exposition. Exploration is about setting the context, creating excitement and bringing the motivation to do an activity. Expression is about diving into the activity, getting your hands dirty, learning and doing. Exposition is about show and tell. You talk about what you did, how you felt and what came out of your actions and efforts. The cub will meet once every month. We will talk and eat and drink but most importantly, we will have an Exploration session for the activity planned for the coming month. The Exploration session will hopefully resonate with a few and they will go deeper into the Expression stage. Not everyone in the club will go down this path. Life is going to happen to all of us. But even if some are fired up, then that’s mission accomplished. We will share lessons and notes and other needed tools for you to learn and do the activity. Now comes Exposition. In the club meetup for the next month, we will have a show and tell session for what you did in the month gone by. This will be followed by the Exploration for the upcoming activity. And so the loop continues.
