Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies (AIGS) founded in 2005 offers a wide range of graduate, post graduate and PG Diploma programs in different academic streams that include Language, Sciences, Technology, Commerce, Management, Fashion Design, Marketing, Accounting and E-Commerce affiliated to Bangalore University. The BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) wing has been unparalleled since birth.
We have been awarded with NAAC accreditation and acquired a GOLD medal for having the top score in Bangalore University in the year 2010. Techminds is a platform for students of Computer Application Department to showcase their hidden talent and enhance them simultaneously. The club was established on 20th February 2009 to provide an integrated platform for IT students in order to motivate and develop their personality as per the need of the IT industry. The club strives towards technical excellence. The activities of club are organized in such a way that it helps to attain the property of "Total Quality Professional". Students work together as a team for collecting funds, conducting events and for promoting the club. Personnel from professional, technical and of industrial backgrounds help students in seeding their professional careers in renowned companies. The club is managed and organized by the students of Department of Computer Applications. The club not only helps the students to improve their technical skills but also tests them in various aspects like communication skills and personality development. The club also provides students a platform where they can judge themselves before entering the corporate world. The club committee and its executive members consist exclusively of students from Bachelor of Computer Applications. The club organizes a Technical Fest as one of its programs which features a variety of activities like Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz and On-the-spot software development contests where a fairly large number of IT colleges across the city are invited from various premier institutions to judge the performance of the participants and to give their expert opinion.
