The summer has begun and with it brings memories of last years korangani incident. This year another forest fire at Bandipur has created a spark of tension among people.

Next time you travel through forest areas make sure you dont involve in any activities that would induce fire, like throwing lit matches or setting up campfires. A tiny spark is sufficient to turn the whole area to ashes. And most importantly donot travel or go trekking through unknown paths or with unofficial groups.
