Not wanting to be restricted to one genre, Arbutus releases both house music and vocal-driven pop—ranging from high-energy dance tracks to more emotional, melody-focused songs. To keep the focus on the music rather than the person behind it, the project features a masked performer, creating a sense of mystery and allowing the sound to take center stage. Arbutus’ mission is to create music that connects both on and off the dance floor.
