Patrick Hussey - Independent

Just popping in there for a look back on 2024 and the local election.. I see I have 179 followers here.. and that is the exact number of first preference votes I got in June 2024 Interestingly. On the day of the count I finished on 229 votes and finished just ahead of Damien Rooney of SF. Apparently there was a big gasp of disbelief from the SF lot when that happened. I polled significantly better on second preferences from Mick Dollard than Rooney did.

I don’t think I will run again in 2029, but I suppose we can never say never. It was a great learning experience Anyway. Thank you again to everyone still following this page for all your support.
