🥔 Serenity & Supernova 🥔
Beautiful pictures from our team in France
Serenity produces an abundance of bright, attractive tubers, with more than 1 million tubers per hectare! First digs are looking very promising and preparations for the baby potato market harvest will begin shortly.
Supernova is a stunning variety showing excellent skin finish with virtually no flesh or skin defects. Combined with a strong tuber count per plant, yield potential looks very promising.

Great to receive this photograph of a fantastic looking crop of Burren being harvested in Baghdad, Iraq 🌱 🥔
Large, long oval tubers and consistently high yields are key reasons why Burren continues to be such a popular choice with growers.
Thanks for sharing Stavros Zannetos

Eternity - Our new dual PCN resistant, long term storage chipping variety🥔 🍟
A great visit to J&D Rimmer & Sons Ltd in Lancashire to check on the progress of some of our newer varieties including Geronimo & Paradox.
This is their first year growing Eternity, and we're excited to follow the crop throughout the season and into storage. It's always rewarding to see a new variety taking its first steps on a commercial farm, and we look forward to sharing Eternity updates from around the country as the season progresses. 🌱🥔

Open day in Cyprus! ☀️
We were delighted to meet customers from across the Middle East, Greece and the Balkans at this event, expertly hosted by Stavros Zannetos.
The trial plots provided the ideal opportunity for visitors to see varieties performing under local conditions, with many delivering impressive yields. Among the standout performers were Buffalo, Buster & Sensation.
Supernova, with it's bright yellow smooth skins also attracted considerable interest. 🥔

We enjoyed seeing our first Yorkshire Fidelity seed crop at JSR Farms this afternoon 🌱
The welcome recent rainfall, combined with cooler temperatures, has provided ideal conditions for tuber initiation.

Exciting times ahead as IPM, now proudly part of the Royal HZPC Group, re-enters the Algerian market 🥔
We’re delighted to be bringing established varieties such as Burren, Banba, Tornado, Electra & Java back to Algerian growers, alongside a selection of newer varieties designed to meet the evolving needs of the market.
Come and say hi to Enrico Bertolin and Mohamed Nadjib ZIBANI at SIPSA 2026! Together, they’re flying the flag for the entire Royal HZPC Group.
In Holland we plant on the flat, initially covering the seed with only a thin layer of soil. This allows the seed to warm up quickly and encourages faster emergence. The result is earlier crop development and subsequently, an earlier harvest.
After 2–3 weeks, just before emergence, the crop is ridged into the final full 75 cm beds. This helps protect the developing tubers and provides the ideal bed structure for the remainder of the growing season.

TRV trial in Yorkshire 🌱
These bags are slightly smaller than we’re used to!
Each bag contains 3 tubers, with 45 varieties in total: new varieties, development varieties and established control varieties.
The tubers are planted in a randomised trial on a high-pressure site, ensuring we get the most accurate results. We will harvest and gather results from this trial in October.

Our team has been busy in Holland planting mini-tubers—marking the start of the multiplication process.
These mini-tubers are produced from microplants grown in a controlled environment, ensuring optimal health and virus-free seed potatoes. 🌱🥔
