The founder of our company ‘Carl Scarpa’ was a cousin of the famous Italian architect “Carlo Scarpa”, one of the most important architects of the twentieth century. Today this gifted heritage and Italian tradition for quality and design lives on in Carl Scarpa’s name. One remarkable outcome of his love affair with Ireland was the opening, of his first international shop, in Sligo, Ireland in 1974.
