Disabled Drivers Association
The Association was founded in Mayo in 1970 and has gone on to become an important provider of quality services to people with limited mobility throughout Ireland. Employing 18 dedicated people at its headquarters in Ballindine, Co. Mayo, the organisation's members are people with disabilities themselves. As such, the members are an important source for the generation of new initiatives.

Man Disqualified from Driving
A man has been disqualified from driving for three months and fined €300 after telling Gardaí he would not pay a fine for parking in an accessible parking bay in Portlaoise.
